Project details
We were to add a timber cladding to a garage corner. The connection to the concrete lintel and the rendered facade was predefined. The corner is in the driving and impact zone and had to be protected.
We aligned and fixed the substructure to the existing wall. We installed the timber slats vertically, keeping consistent joint gaps. We executed the corner detail perfectly flush and solved the top termination with a cover.
We achieved a straight, calm corner elevation with a continuous slat pattern. We created clean junctions to concrete and the existing structure without visible corrections. The garage corner is protected and visually clearly defined.
Vertical timber slats are well suited for cladding narrow corner areas in existing buildings quickly and precisely.
