Project details
We planned to add a new garage on the property, directly connecting to existing outdoor areas. The concrete slab was predefined and had to be adopted exactly. For the doors and the intended use, we needed precise opening geometry.
We set out the lightweight timber frame on the concrete slab and plumbed it accurately. We mechanically anchored the sill and posts to the substrate. We installed and braced the ceiling structure and roof frame. We created the external envelope with profiled sheet metal, forming clean joints and edges.
We delivered a stable garage structure with clear openings and a precise connection to the existing conditions. A weather-protected, ready-to-use parking and storage space. A robust outer skin with low maintenance requirements.
Lightweight timber construction is well suited for garages when a light structure is required on an existing concrete slab.
