Project details
In the existing room, we only had a limited footprint available. We wanted the storage to be orderly and protected from dust. Despite the tight surroundings, the doors had to be able to open fully.
We built the cabinet carcass in timber-frame construction and clad it with timber boarding. We executed the doors as two-leaf elements and mounted them with hinges. We screwed all connections and fittings, and aligned the supports on the wall and floor.
We store several bikes clearly and in a space-saving way. The doors close off the storage space and reduce soiling. The construction is stable and suitable for everyday use in an existing building.
Timber cabinets are especially suitable when we need compact, retrofit bike storage in an existing building.
