Project details
At the parking spot, the requirement was a very budget-friendly, quick-to-build and rather temporary solution. The priority was basic weather protection for the motorhome and a dry, comfortable access path. The focus was clearly on usability and cost, not on maximum build complexity.
We built a simple timber canopy, used OSB for bracing, and finished the roof with bitumen corrugated sheets. In parallel, we added a timber walkway so access remains practical even in wet weather. Execution was intentionally pragmatic, with hands-on improvisation and tight cost control.
The motorhome is now better protected, and day-to-day access is noticeably easier. With simple means, we achieved a stable, functional and economical result. This project shows we also handle smaller jobs quickly and effectively.
Not every project needs a complex full-scale build: for smaller tasks, speed, cost control and clean usability are what matter most.
