Project details
A section of the existing terrace floor had already been taken up. Irregular build-up height and slope required a readjustment of the substructure. Connections to the edge termination and the façade area had to be maintained.
We collected and sorted the existing deck boards for reinstallation. We re-levelled and aligned the substructure on adjustable pedestals. We checked the supporting profiles, set bearing points, and retightened fixings. We reinstalled the timber decking using the existing boards and refined the joints and edge terminations.
A level, stable partial area with no noticeable edges. Controlled fall and consistent height relative to the surroundings. Original condition restored, with a clean tie-in to the existing structure.
On existing terraces, usability can often be restored quickly by correctly setting the adjustable pedestals and reinstalling the existing elements.
