Project details
We found an existing concrete slab surface with uneven areas and a critical connection height at the door thresholds. Columns and façade connections limited the build-up and laying area. We were asked to deliver a level, durable terrace floor without intervening in the substrate.
We built and levelled the substructure on adjustable pedestals with rubber pads. We aligned the support profiles in a consistent grid and neatly cut out around columns. We laid the thermo-ash boards with defined joint spacing and trimmed the edges to an exact fit. We executed clean connections to the façade and door thresholds.
We achieved a level deck despite an irregular substrate. The stable substructure provides good rear ventilation and reliable water drainage. The joints are even, and the thermo-ash has a calm, consistent appearance. The terrace is ready for immediate use as a seating and living area.
Adjustable pedestals are ideal for terraces on existing slab surfaces when low build-up heights and precise height compensation are required.
